Flying Machine Jeans

About Flying Machine:-
These are a few of the most common responses evoked in the Indian consumers’ minds when one mentions Flying Machine. Launched in 1980 by Arvind Lifestyle Brands Limited, Flying Machine has long since been synonymous with authentic details, original graphics, first in class urban innovation and true Italian styling.
Brand And History:-
Flying Machine was launched in 1980 by Arvind Lifestyle Brands Limited. Soon after its launch, it dominated substantial market with its proposition of “fits tailor-made for Indians” backed by the Arvind Mills credibility. By 1994, it had become a leader in branded jeans in India and was seen as the torch-bearer of not just fashionable denim, but also a cultural youth icon.
In 2007, as a part of its relaunch phase, the brand roped in Italian designer Chicco (pronounced Khee-co) to help reinvent its design philosophy to be able to cater to an all-new Indian consumer. Chicco had gained immense popularity through an 11yr design career with the famous Italian brand Replay, designed stuff for ‘Brad Pitt’ and ‘Beyonce’ and gone on to co-own a company that produced premium denims in Europe.2007 marked the year of come back with no looking back for Flying Machine.
A little while after Abhishek Bacchan, cricketing icon Virat Kohli was signed on to be the face of the brand. This highly visible and highly successful partnership came to a close in 2013 and right now it’s heartthrob Arjun Kapoor who is seen promoting the brand.

Denim Jeans

Jeans are made of a material called denim. The name “denim” comes from the name of a sturdy fabric called “Serge de Nîmes”, initially made in Nîmes, France, hence “de Nîmes” - “denim”. Weavers of Nîmes tried to reproduce the cotton corduroy that was famously made in the city of Genoa, in Italy, but with no luck. With trial and error, they developed another twill fabric that became known as denim. That was cotton twill textile, in which the weft passes under two or more warp threads. Warp threads were dyed in indigo while weft threads remained white that gave to denim blue color on the one side and white on the other. Denim is highly durable, and that is why he was used by people that needed clothes that would last long. That is also why it was used by Levi Strauss and Jacob W. Davis for material for jeans pants.
